Kleen Energy was established in 2008 as an independent power producer after the Kenyan government under the REA programme strategy allowed small power producers to generate power and sell it to the main grid under the new feed in tariffs. The company’s focus remains production of clean energy from four key sources, namely; • Hydro Power
• Wind Energy
• Biomass gasification.
• Solar power
